STEP3 - Getting The Room Confirmation: Upon receiving your inquiry mails, our staff will contact you shortly via email. If the guest was certain about the room selection by then and if the guest agrees to our terms and conditions, the room confirmation then will be placed for the guest.
Rental Requirements: Here are what you need to bring signing our rental contract. No Key Money Required, No Guarantor Required.
Tips: One of the advantages that our rooms (both apartment and guest house) have over other japanese apartments is that our rental system DOES NOT ask guests for the infamous key money & gift money known as "Shiki-kin" and "Rei-kin" here in Japan. Which, in some cases could add up to 4 month worth of rent money to be paid on the first month rent due (On top of the first month rent). Please relax, we require none of these fees.
How To Pay Rent: We accept PayPal, cash and automatic bank transfer only.
At Bamboo House we have 2 room types.
About Guest House Units: With a guest house unit, the kitchen, toilet, and bath/shower are shared with other tenants. This is one of the reasons why the rents on the guest house rooms are set much lower than regular apartments. Not to compromise the quality of living, all of our guest house rooms are fully-furnished. And WE DO NOT ASK FOR UTILITY FEES. No additional fees required. All of our guest houses feature common dining spaces.

About Apartments: For the apartment type units, we have both studio apartment (or flat) and 1 bedroom apartment. Our apartments are all fully furnished. But unlike the guest house units, utility expenses are NOT included in the rent on apartments (except the apartment units at Hotel Fujimi). Just like regular apartments elsewhere, the rent is due on every month.

About Rents: All of our premises (both apartment type units and guest house units) can be rented either on a monthly basis or on a weekly basis.
Sharing A Unit With Friends: Depending on the room size, multiple guests (up to 3 people) can share a unit together with extra 15,000yen per additional guest (10,000 for weekly rentals). Children under 6 years old are free of charge.
Tips: If you are visiting Tokyo on a trip of a week or two, then we strongly recommend renting our premises WEEKLY with a group or friends. Since the addtional charge per guest for weekly rentals is only 10,000yen, the cost on each guest would be much less than choosing hostel type accomodations for your trip. A good deal for backpackers. Unlike hostels or bed & breakfast type of accomodations, some of our flats feature private kitchens, toilets, and shower rooms as well.
About General Room Inquiry:
Send us a room inquiry mail so we can assist you with your room search and arrange the date for the room inspection in Tokyo for you. All you have to do is fill out the inquiry form and send it.

About Room Reservation: Booking a room at Bamboo House is easy. When searching for a room, if you see following availability status signs: "Available Now", "Available Till", and "Available From" on some rooms, it means that those rooms are AVAILABLE or READY to be reserved. Please DO NOT HESITATE to make a reservation when you see these three signs. Because our reservation system is operated on the First-come, first-served basis, if a customer gets his/her reservation confirmed, then the availability status sign would change to "Not Available" meaning the particular room is NO LONGER available to be reserved. Until the status changes back to "Available Now" or "Available From" or "Available Till". The difference between the three signs are following:
How To Reserve A Room: To reserve a room, the guest is required to pay the 30,000yen deposit in advance through PayPal or bank account transfer. The deposit is refundable on check out. As soon as we receive the deposit, we will place a room reservation for you.

How To Pay Reservation Deposit: We accept the deposit ONLY via PayPal and automatic bank transfer.
STEP1 - Meeting Up With You!: Shortly after we receive your inquiries, you'll be contacted by our staff via email. We then will acquire your choice of room (you can change your room choice at this point). If you have decided on the room for certain by then, we will arrange the time and place to meet for the room inspection here in Japan (it's possible to move in without going through the room inspection as well). Unless you have a specific place in mind, most likey we will meet you at the closest station to the house that you choose. We also give you directions to get to the meeting place so the first time visitors can get there easily.
STEP2 - Room Inspection On The Spot: After we find you at the station (or you find us), we will take you to the house and show you the unit. If there are any other rooms that you are interested in at this point and if they are available on the day of your arrival, you can always ask us to show you those rooms as well.
STEP3 - Check In: When you have decided on the room, the remaining process is to sign our rental contract and check in.
Check In: Before signing our rental contract, all guests are mandated to pay the first month rent (or the first week rent for the weekly premises.) and the deposit which is 30,000yen (those who came with the reservation confirmed are excluded. We would have your deposits by then). The deposit is refundable on check out. The full amount will be returned if there were no serious damages to the premise (Most of the time, the full amount would likely be returned). The check-in time is 10am - 5pm. Please let us know what time you'd like to check in. No key money is needed. You need a photocopy of your passport and visa, and we will make a photocopy of them.
Check Out: All tenants are mandated to do following duties on check out:
